Litigation

Our firm represents clients in complex intellectual property disputes arising in both domestic and cross-border proceedings, including litigation and arbitration. We act in proceedings administered by the WIPO, before Romanian courts including the High Court of Cassation and Justice, and before the Court of Justice of the European Union. We develop and conduct disputes on the basis of the factual matrix, the applicable substantive law, and the procedural framework of the relevant forum. Our representation covers all procedural stages, from the initiation of proceedings through to appellate review, with a focus on enforceability of outcomes and the protection of the client’s legal position throughout the dispute.

We adopt an integrated, one-team approach to IP disputes, ensuring that advice is coordinated, timely, and tailored to the procedural and substantive requirements of each matter. Given the accelerated dynamics of IP litigation, we are able to deploy cross-jurisdictional teams at short notice, ensuring procedural responsiveness and alignment of litigation strategy with the client’s commercial position. Alongside core expertise in intellectual property law, we regularly address intersecting issues of competition law, antitrust, and criminal enforcement, enabling a consolidated approach to complex, multi-dimensional disputes.

Across technology, pharmaceutical, and consumer goods sectors, we act in a broad range of intellectual property disputes arising from patent infringement, trade secret misappropriation, and related unlawful conduct. We have represented both multinational undertakings and emerging companies in complex, high-value proceedings, including contentious litigation and pre-litigation dispute resolution. Our work encompasses both negotiated settlement and representation before competent courts, with a focus on the protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights.
